We want Fairfield City Council to be a place where people with disability want to work.

We can do this by being inclusive when we hire people.

We also want to help people with disability:

• get training

• find and keep a job.

We will make sure we give people with disability chances to work at Council.

We will work with local businesses to help them understand why it is good to hire people with disability.

We will also support people with disability to grow their job skills as volunteers.

Volunteers are people who work but don’t get paid.

Volunteers usually do work that helps other people.
